Dr. David A. Engers, founder and President of Videra Advisors, will join Improved Pharma as a consultant. Dr. Engers brings a wealth of industry technical experience in pharmaceutical science, with a particular focus on drug product formulation design and development strategies, and materials characterization. His expertise in solid-state chemistry will be instrumental in addressing complex challenges related to drug solubility, bioavailability, and stability. Dr. Engers has a proven track record in developing innovative strategies to improve the oral bioavailability of poorly water-soluble compounds, including the use of amorphous solid forms and advanced formulation techniques. His work has helped advance both early and late stage programs, including the successful risk assessments and technology transfers of product and processes for high-potency formulations. Dr. Engers has presented and published on a range of topics, including lectures at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. Dr. Engers currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Industrial and Molecular Pharmaceutics at Purdue University.
